To assist in your bequest being received as planned, be sure your document states the legal title of the YMCA, which is the "YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Endowment, Inc." If the gift will go to a branch, be sure to clearly note the proper name of that YMCA; for example, the Ryan Family YMCA. The following is example language to share with your advisor.
"I give and bequeath the sum of _____ dollars or ____% of my estate to the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Endowment, Inc., with the principal office currently located at 512 Lamar Street, Suite 400, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Donors are encouraged to designate a gift to a program and/or branch location. After the sentence noted above, simply add the statement,
"This gift is to be used exclusively for _________ (program name or branch location)."
Any gift of real estate is subject to the Metropolitan YMCA of Fort Worth Endowment, Inc.'s gift acceptance policy.
